- Piperazine is an important pharmaceutical intermediate, mainly used in the production of anthelmintic piperazine phosphate, piperazine citrate and fluphenazine, prednisone, rifampicin, piperazine adipate, guanfacine, methyltetracycline, quinpiaphosphate, perphenazine, enoxacin, hydroxyzine hydrochloride, trifluoperazine, ethamazine citrate, guilizine, flunarizine, dechloroxazine, prednisidine, sodium hydrogenated prednisone phosphate, sodium dexamethasone phosphate, pyrimethamine, norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin, e-coughazine, meperidine, trimethoprim and other drugs.
- Also used in the production of surfactant products such as wetting agents, emulsifiers and dispersants.
- Production of antioxidants, preservatives, stabilizers and other plastic processing aids and rubber additives.
