Surfactants

SurfactantA compound that reduces the surface tension (or interfacial tension) between two liquids, between a gas and a liquid, or between a liquid and a solid. Surfactants can be used as cleaning agents, wetting agents, emulsifiers, foaming agents or dispersants.
